As the end of the year approaches (*sigh* what a year!) and the new freshness of 2020 peeks around the corner, I’ve decided to start my new year by offering a workshop all about emotions.
This workshop is designed to give the person that I used to be - confused, lacking self-awareness and emotional awareness, who felt trapped in behavioral patterns that weren’t healthy - a foundation of how emotions work, some practices to work with emotions, and an experiential understanding of the interactions between emotions and how they translate to actions in real life.
Learning about emotions can change your life, but you have to be present. What I mean by that is you need to learn to be present with your emotions when they’re happening, so that you can listen and respond accordingly, and you have to be willing to feel whatever it is that your emotions are making you feel - and whatever emotional truth is coming forward.
I’ll teach you 5 Empathic Mindfulness practices that help you work with your emotions, so that you can make conscious, informed choices about your actions. And I’ll give you time to practice on your own.
Unlike the trend I see so often, of cramming all the information into a one-day workshop, I’ve decided to divide this up into 4 weeks, so that there’s time in between to process, have your own experiences, and practice what you’re learning.
